Trans Siberian Orchestra last came to Madison in 2013 with “The Lost Christmas Eve”. The Charismas Attic is the second album from their Christmas Trilogy. The album came out in 1998 and will make the basis of their upcoming opera concert in Madison which no progressive rock fan would want to miss.

Formed in 1996 by Paul O’Neill, the progressive rock band Trans Siberian Orchestra has literally made it to the next level with their elaborate concerts, laser shows and effects. The band made its debut with the release of “Christmas Eve and Other Stories,” the first installment of their Christmas Trilogy. It sold more than three million copies in the US alone and was certified triple platinum. The album remains one of their best-selling albums and was followed by the second installment of Christmas Trilogy “The Lost Christmas Eve” which hit the stores in 1998.

In 1999, the band started touring across the country and started gaining popularity, performing at sold out venues. Their next album was rock opera “Beethoven’s Last Night” which came out in 2000 and was followed by extensive touring. The band returned to the studio and recorded the final installment of Christmas Trilogy “The Lost Christmas Eve” which was released in 2004. For the next few years, the band toured continuously.

It was in 2009 that they released their fifth album “Night Castle,” which was a hit, charting at number five on the Billboard. The band went on Beethoven’s Last Night tour in 2010 and made it to Europe in spring 2012 when “Beethoven's Last Night: The Complete Narrated Version” came out. The band released the narrated version of “The Lost Christmas Eve” in 2013 and went on a tour which ended in early 2014. In 2015, the band will appear live at Alliant Energy Center Coliseum with “The Charismas Attic”. Get your seats booked there in advance, before all Trans Siberian Orchestra Alliant Energy Center Coliseum tickets are sold out.
