Train Kansas City Tickets

Inspired by the music of Led Zeppelin, Pat Monahan decided to follow in the footsteps of his idols and formed Train by recruiting Rob Hotchkiss, Jimmy Stafford, Charlie Colin and Scott Underwood. The band immediately generated buzz when they started touring nationally with acts like Barenaked Ladies and Cracker. Shortly afterwards, the group made their presence felt by releasing their platinum selling debut self-titled studio effort in 1998. Since then, there has been no slowing down for this band. Train is now scheduled to perform a gig at the Sprint Center. So, get your Train Kansas City tickets if you want to enjoy their performance live.

Starting as a rock band, Train found success when they started to fuse their music with pop. This led to them releasing many famous pop rock ballads including, Hey, Soul Sister which turned out to be their highest-selling hit to date, going sextuple platinum in the United States.

And Their Journey Begins

Train was exposed to fame in the beginning of their career thanks to a very special album, ‘Train.’ This was their first studio record that arrived in the markets in 1998. It sold in excess of one million units in the US and yielded a single, Meet Virginia which peaked at the second spot on the Adult Top 40. The success of this record encouraged Train to put out their second studio LP, ‘Drops of Jupiter’ in 2001. The record made headlines all over the globe and spawned a Grammy winning single, Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me).

Taking Their Career to New Heights

Train continued to drop more successful albums throughout 2000s. Two of the band’s albums that came out during the decade, ‘My Private Nation’ and ‘Save Me, San Francisco’ became global hits and boosted their popularity worldwide.

In 2017, the group treated the fans to their latest studio effort, ‘A Girl, a Bottle, a Boat.’ The record showcased a different side of the band and contained eleven catchy songs. The band is now setting out on a tour. So, if you want to see them perform their next concert at the Sprint Center then get your Train Kansas City tickets.
