Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Tickets

With some great hits over a span of around four decades, the rock music by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have won them great awards such as the Grammy Awards and MTV Video Awards.
The band didn’t start easy. Tom Petty had left high school to become part of a band Mudcrutch. Mudcrutch didn’t live long enough to make it big but it did give birth to some members of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers; Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell and Tom Petty of course. Other members are Stan Lynch and Ron Blair.

Their first album was a self-titled one with some really good hits like Breakdown and American Girl. The band’s second album was their first ever album to go gold, titled, "Youre Gonna Get It". Released in 1979, the album had hit singles such as Listen to Her Heart and I Need to Know.

After some legal issues that needed to be resolved, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers released their third album in 1979. The album, Damn the Torpedoes, had some outstanding singles such as Refugee and Don’t Do Me Like That that were responsible for the album going platinum.

The other two albums that followed were equally as successful if not more. Hard Promises was released in the year 1981 while Long After Dark was released in 1982. Both albums produced popular songs such as You Got Lucky and A Woman in Love. The album that followed took three years to prepare. It was called Southern Accents and released in the year 1985. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers then toured with Bob Dylan as his band.

In 1980, Tom Petty faced some misfortune when his house burned down. The next year, Tom Petty joined George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne and Roy Orbison to form their group the Travelling Wilburys.  They came up with quite a successful album that did pretty well.

Following this, Tom Petty decided to take a break from the former Heartbreakers and came up with his solo album in 1989. Solo Moon, his album, sold over three million copies. Some of the great hits from the album are I Won’t Back Down, Free Fallin’ and Runnin’ Down a Dream. The very next year, Tom Petty again got together with Dylan, Harrison and Lynne to release another album.
Following this, Petty reunited with the Heartbreakers with his solo career going on side by side. Into The Great released in 1991 earned the band some critical and commercial success. On the other hand, Petty came up with many of his own albums including the 1994 release called Wildflowers. The album grabbed Petty some great feedback from critics. Petty’s song You Don’t Know How it Feels even got a Grammy for the Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers paved their way into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the year 2001. The following year, The Last DJ received mixed criticism from critics.

However, the band never failed to attract fans to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tickets. Hits such as Saving Grace from their 2006 album Highway Companion got some great reviews and earned spots on pop and rock charts.

2006 was a great year for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, not only making them the headlining act in the fifth Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival but also Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tickets went in high demand for their thirtieth anniversary celebration.

Tom Petty and the Hearbreakers were a part of the Super Bowl, performing in the 2008 halftime show. Two years later, the band announced the release of a new album. The album was titled Mojo and had the band touring in the summer.

This year, the band again got together to perform once more at the annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are known to have highly energetic concerts that leave the fans wanting more.
