The Fab Faux is a five member band that was made in New York in the year 1998. The band was formed by two seasoned musicians namely guitarist Jimmy Vivino who used to be leader of the band that played on Late Night Show with Conan O’Brien and ex-bassist of Late Show with David Letterman called Will Lee. These two were later joined by drummer and vocalist Rich Pagano, guitarist Jack Petruzzelli and singer and guitar player Frank Agnello. Since debut the group has performed numerous live concerts all over the US. The Fab Faux tries its level best to revive the actual Beatles’ music and sound, for this purpose they are accompanied by a string section called Crème Tangerine Strings and horn section played by Hogshead Horns. The group has performed live at famous New York City venues like The China Club, Nokia Theater, Webster Hall and The Bowery Ballroom.

The Fab Faux full length profile was featured on the famous new channel CNN and the group took part in recording of a CD at the famous London recording house called Abbey Road Studios. This CD had original works of various Beatles tribute bands. From the year 1999 till 2005 The Fab Faux was performing live shows thrice a year at the city of Liverpool in England mainly as a part of festival activities during the “Beatles Week”. The Fab Faux during one of the concerts in Liverpool attracted a crowd of around 35000 fans, this concert was called ‘Yellow Submarine and Let it be stages’ and was sponsored by Apple. Rolling Stone Magazine wrote a special article about Fab Faux and termed the band as “The Greatest Beatles cover band…..without the wigs”.
 
This immensely talented group has appeared twice on the Howard Stern Show and performed famous Beatles’ numbers such as “While My Guitar Sleeps”, “A Day in the Life” and “Penny Lane”. In 2007 The Fab Faux made history by becoming the first ever tribute band to appear on Late Show with David Letterman. In the year 2008 the band also played on the show Late Night with Conan O’Brien and in the same year they performed live at the Jammy Awards along with guitar player Trey Anastasio and singer Joan Osborne.
