The Airborne Toxic Event is an indie rock band internationally recognized for blending the rock and orchestral sounds together. This two member band with a need to expand by the inclusion of talented musicians soon was joined in by Anna Bulbrook for playing violin and Steven Chen and Noah Harmon for playing guitar. The five member band is what is now known to be The Airborne Toxic Event.

The band made its first successful performance in a show at Echo which was well received and attended by a number of audiences. Encouraged by the positive response, The Airborne Toxic Event made its second live performance at CMJ Music Marathon which received even a better response in comparison to the first one. Being noticed for its incredible music, it was ranked among the ‘Top 25 Bands on My Space’ by the Rolling Stone Magazine. Not only this, it also received favorable reviews in various music blogs and press releases; notably being ranked by the Los Angeles Magazine as third among the Top Three L.A Bands to Watch in 2008.

Successful live performances by The Airborne Toxic Event brought them into the lime light as an upcoming indie rock sensation of the music industry. The band launched its self titled debut album in 2008. Featuring 14 phenomenal soundtracks including ‘Sometime Around Midnight’, ‘Something New’, ‘Does This Mean You Are Moving On’ and many others of the like, it was an instant hit. It received immense appreciation by not only its fans but also by publications like the Los Angeles Times, Q Entertainment Weekly and News Week. Along with this, Boston Herald in recognition of its music also titled the band’s album as ‘The Debut Album of the Year’. This happened to be the turning point in its musical career, promising a bright future in producing music for the indie rock genre.

The Airborne Toxic Event has released two albums to date with ‘All At Once’ being the latest one. The years following the launch of its debut album till the release of the second one, the band continued with its live performances across the world.
