Scott Bradlee Tickets

Scott Bradlee is one of the most talented artists around. He is one of the select few artists to have gotten their initial break from the wide world web. The Long-Islander began playing jazz standards on his piano in his early teens. He went on to re-imagine some of the latest hit numbers, as how they would have been recorded in the era encompassing the ‘20s-’50s. His group Postmodern Jukebox has experimented on songs from popular music artists such as Lorde, Macklemore, Nickelback, Miley Cyrus and others. The group is now touring numerous cities in North America, Europe and the UK. They will be performing songs from their own discography and will showcase new renditions. So grab Scott Bradlee tickets and enjoy their brilliant performance.

Date & Time

Scott Bradlee is among the few music artists who have successfully launched their music career via social media. The thirty-something’s videos on YouTube went viral half a decade ago and led to international fame and a devout fan following. He is a versatile artist who works as a composer, pianist, arranger and a musician.

From Long Island to the world

Bradlee’s romance with jazz bloomed when he first heard George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” at the young age of twelve. Early on, Bradlee’s interest was rooted deep into the music from his grandparent’s era rather than his own generation.

Dedicated to become a professional pianist someday, he started learning how to play blues, jazz and ragtime routines. He considers Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Scott Joplin and the likes as some of his biggest influences.

On his own accord, he experimented with mixing and fusing many genres of ragtime such as slow drag, stride piano, cakewalk and fox-trot among others. To pursue his ambitious dream, Bradlee left his home city and went to New York. His initial efforts were in vain as ragtime is no longer a part of pop culture.

Conception of Postmodern Jukebox

After playing at restaurants and small gigs for a while, Bradlee was still facing a setback. He came up with the idea of rerecording chart-toppers and pop hits of the today in the style of the early to might 1900s. This idea let to the conception of Postmodern Jukebox. After recording his music, he posted these experimentations on YouTube.

At once, his efforts gained recognition, viewed by millions and shared by thousands. In just over a few weeks, Bradlee had become a YouTube sensation and his videos went viral.

By 2014, Postmodern Jukebox ranked high in the list of Top 100 Channels selected by New Media Rockstars.

Postmodern Jukebox parade

Bradlee was quickly joined by likeminded music artists and together they formed up the group Postmodern Jukebox. Their unique blend of music, fine attention to authenticity and era-specific details and their huge array of versatile talented artists won the group widespread critical acclaim from fans, music lovers and critics.

Over the years, many notable names have joined the ranks of the ever-rotating group. Some of the names include Puddles the Clown, Ariana Savalas, Morgan James, Von Smith, Dave Koz, Emily West, Kate Davis and Casey Abrams among others.

Works of Scott Bradlee and Postmodern Jukebox

Since the start of the 2010s, Bradlee has released a number of albums. His first album came out in 2012 under the title Mashups by Candlelight, whereas the latest album to hit the shelves is 2015’s, Emoji Antique.

Postmodern Jukebox and Bradlee have transformed songs by many pop artists into their own history-twisted genre. The most lauded among these are their rendition of  a Lorde song sung by a seven-foot clown, Miley Cyrus treated to ‘50’s doo wop, Macklemore twisted into swing era of the ’30’s, Nickelback re-imagined as Motown and Swedish House Mafia turned into a ‘20’s hot jazz.
