The group is now touring numerous cities in North America, Europe and the UK. They will be performing songs from their own discography and will showcase new renditions. Latest Scott Bradlee Events

Scott Bradlee is among the few music artists who have successfully launched their music career via social media. The thirty-something’s videos on YouTube went viral half a decade ago and led to international fame and a devout fan following. He is a versatile artist who works as a composer, pianist, arranger and a musician.

From Long Island to the world

Bradlee’s romance with jazz bloomed when he first heard George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” at the young age of twelve. Early on, Bradlee’s interest was rooted deep into the music from his grandparent’s era rather than his own generation.

Dedicated to become a professional pianist someday, he started learning how to play blues, jazz and ragtime routines. He considers Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Scott Joplin and the likes as some of his biggest influences.

On his own accord, he experimented with mixing and fusing many genres of ragtime such as slow drag, stride piano, cakewalk and fox-trot among others. To pursue his ambitious dream, Bradlee left his home city and went to New York. His initial efforts were in vain as ragtime is no longer a part of pop culture.

Conception of Postmodern Jukebox

After playing at restaurants and small gigs for a while, Bradlee was still facing a setback. He came up with the idea of rerecording chart-toppers and pop hits of the today in the style of the early to might 1900s. This idea let to the conception of Postmodern Jukebox. After recording his music, he posted these experimentations on YouTube.

At once, his efforts gained recognition, viewed by millions and shared by thousands. In just over a few weeks, Bradlee had become a YouTube sensation and his videos went viral.

By 2014, Postmodern Jukebox ranked high in the list of Top 100 Channels selected by New Media Rockstars.
