Scorpions cancel remaining 2017 Tour
On October 7th, Scorpions revealed that they will be cancelling the remaining tour dates with Megadeth because the group’s lead singer, Klaus Meine was diagnosed with severe laryngitis. The band also issued an official statement, “The Scorpions regretfully announce that due to severe laryngitis, the remainder of the U.S. 2017 tour will be cancelled. Klaus Meine has been advised by top throat specialist in Los Angeles to rest his voice. If he continues the tour, he could risk permanent vocal damage. The band also stated, “that they truly hate to disappoint our fans and hope to come back to America soon, but this time we have no choice but to cancel.”
Scorpions are about to hit the road
The German metal superstars Scorpions are about to hit the road once again. They just finished their 50th Anniversary Tour that began in 2015 and concluded in the year 2016. Their next tour is named “Crazy World Tour” and this is to celebrate the success of their album, “Crazy” that came out in 1990. The album has been certified twice platinum in the US.
