Montevallo is the name of Sam Hunt’s first studio album. The American singer and songwriter released it via MCA Nashville in October of 2014. Hunt co-wrote all the ten songs on the record. The production of the album was managed by Shane McAnally and Zach Crowell.
Montevallo debuted at the third spot on the Billboard 200 and the top spot on the Top Country Albums chart. The record sold 70,000 copies within its first week of release. Its lead single Leave the Night On reached the number one position on the Hot Country Songs chart as well as the Country Airplay chart. Montevallo occupied the top spot on the Top Country Albums chart for nine weeks. The album won the Digital Album of the Year honor at the American Country Countdown Awards in 2016.
