Millions all over the world have had the chance to listen to the spectacular music created by this awesome band and have nothing but praise. Formed back in 1995 in the famous Orange County in California, the band currently plays out off Seal Beach in California. Rx Bandits have perfomed in numerous tours and festivals; the Vans Warped Tour, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and The Bamboozle being but a handful of them. This band plays live concerts regularly at various venues which are usually sold out.

The band first began playing music as The Pharmaceutical Bandits as part of the third wave ska revival that took place in 90s. Their first album was released in 1997 and was titled as Those Damn Bandits with several features and guest acts by Jimmy the Robot from the band Aquabats, Chris Colonnier from the band Jeffries Fan Club and lastly, The Forces of Evil, a well known band. This album was well received and favorably reviewed by newspapers such as the Los Angeles Times. One of the band members, Matt Embree, studied at the Alamitos High School which spawned various other third wave ska bands that included The Scholars, Save Ferris and Reel Big Fish.

The year of 1998 saw the band releasing the album Halfway Between Here and There in which they deviated from their original third wave ska sound and then went on tour with a number of bands and then headlined numerous amazing shows. At their pinnacle, fans flocked for Rx Bandits tickets and their concerts were usually jam packed with lovers and non-lovers of third wave ska. The band remixed this album and released in 1999 with a new track list and new artwork. At this point, the band adopted their new name, Rx Bandits, and began playing under this name.

In 2001, Rx Bandits released the album Progress which further enriched the sound of the band and its spectacular song, Analog Boy, was made into a music video. Two years later, the band released The Resignation which combined both a CD and a DVD. This released explored new music genres and time signatures. The music in this release was recorded live in the studio and there were a limited number of takes for each song. It was a phenomenal released that treated music as an art from rather than as something commercial.

In 2006, the band released the album And the Battle Begun through MDB Records and even released a music video for the title song of this album with Refused TV. The band then released Live from Bonnaroo 2007 a year later through iTunes, a release that was immensely successful. The next year then band then went on a headline tour with various other bands such as Portugal. The Man, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, Maps & Atlases, and Facing New York supporting them.  In 2009, Rx Bandits released the album Mandala and went on a tour with the group, Dredg, soon after. In this tour, the band was supported by Good Old War and As Tall As Lions. The next year, Rx Bandits were back on tour again as headliners and supported by the bands The Builders and The Butchers, Zechs Marquise. Rx Bandits performed at the Gramercy Theatre within New York City for three nights in a row, playing live three of their albums, The Resignation, Mandala, and ...And The Battle Begun. the band also performed at the famous hangout, The Troubador in the city of Los Angeles.

Rx Bandits are now lining up for the greatest tour in their career. This particular tour will span around five months and will be made up of around thirty six live shows. This tour will run across numerous cities in the US and anyone with a love for Rx Bandits music or anyone interested in sampling music from this famous group of singers and musicians should definitely lay their hands on spectacular Rx Bandits tickets . After that, be prepared for a night or nights of some of the greatest music your ears have ever had a chance of listening to.
