Shinedown is an American alternative metal band that is one of the three headliners at the Rock USA. It is from Jacksonville, Florida and has released music through Atlantic Records and Roadrunner Records. It has been active since 2002 with its music moving from rock to metal through many flavors. Its lineup consists of lead vocalist Brent Smith, drummer Barry Kerch, pianist and bassist Eric Bass and guitarist Zach Myers. Since its founding, it has released four different albums; the first of these, Leave a Whisper, was released in 2003 and was followed by Us and Them in 2005. In 2008, the band released the album The Sound of Madness and its latest album, Amarylis, came out in 2012. Added to this, it has also released fourteen hit singles and has sold over ten million copies of its four albums.
 
Kid Rock is an American artist from Romeo, Michigan regarded as one of the best solo rock artists today in America. His rock music has contained influences of hip hop, southern rock, blues, rap and even moves on to the heavier sounds of heavy metal. He is a singer, a songwriter, an actor and a musician who plays many instruments including seven types of guitar. He has been an active part of the American and international music scene since 1988 and has released music through a number of record labels including Atlantic Records, Top Dog and Jive Records. He has also worked with a number of other bands and artists including Eminem, Lynryd Skynyrd, Eminem, Shryl Crow, R Kelly, Too Short and Uncle Kracker. He has sold over twenty three million albums with six of them certified platinum by the RIAA.
