By the time Roberto Tapia turned 9, he was already into music and it helped that he got a scholarship at the prestigious school called Difocur in Sinaloa. He started recording his own music and in the mean time also joined the Symphony of Sinaloa. With time, patience and hard work, Tapia became a rising voice in regional Mexican and his romantic ballads and soulful voice took the listeners by storm. Nestled in a thriving genre, Tapia has adapted to the fast evolving industry and has expanded his catalog by staying versatile. His musical style ranges from banda to rancheras and norteño.
Adding to his portfolio, Roberto Tapia became a part of La Voz Kids, a popular children’s singing competition. Signing up as a coach alongside Prince Royce, the bachata star, Tapia has shown his nurturing side and takes his commitment with the children quite seriously.
