In the late 1970s a movement to promote heavy metal music took pace and this revolution was known as the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Under the influence of this revolution the Riot band was instantly spotted by the very famous DJ of the seventies named Neal Kay. He suddenly realized the potential of this band and decided to promote their debut album in the best possible way. He established the bands reputation as an extremely talented and newly emerging heavy metal band in Europe. People belonging to all parts of the United Kingdom bought the copies of this album and this proved to be a driving force for the Riot. Their work was appreciated by the people and they started recognizing this as a new form of music. It became popular especially with the youngsters. After getting a considerable amount of popularity they recorded and released their second album titled Narita under the supervision of the Fire Sign Records. After some time they took this album on the US Texas tour along with Sammy Hagar.
