Radio City Christmas Spectacular is returning with the Rockettes to Nashville for another annual performance at Grand Ole Opry House. The touring production is now celebrating its eighty-first season featuring music, dancing and light humor alongside traditional scenes of breathtaking stage settings. The show was first performed in 1993 in New York at the Music Hall, and it was only in 2002 that it was first brought to Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House. It debuted there as part of Country Christmas celebrations by Gaylord Opryland Convention & Resort Center. Since then the colorful stage show has been taking place at the venue every year for a four to five weeks engagement. Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular Nashville tickets are now something of a holiday tradition among Nashville’s families and stage concert fans.
Among this year’s new numbers is the delightful song called Snow, the performance of which features floating globes with gigantic snowflakes that vanish under the stage. Other musical numbers featured in the forthcoming Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular Nashville show include Sleigh Ride; Twelve Days of Christmas; Santa Flies to New York; Parade of Wooden Soldiers; New York at Christmas, Here Comes the Santa Claus; Closer Than you’ll Ever Know; Santa’s Video Game, Joy to the World; and of course the show’s signature score, The Living Nativity. The latter always gets children excited with its live camels and sheep. This holiday show is a must-watch for the family.
