In the fall of 2009, the band toured various cities of United States. In 2010, they played at 2010 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Ultra Music Festival in Miami, the 2010 Marchone Music Productions Illumination Show in Nashville, 2010 Evolve Festival in Nova Scotia, 2010 Movement (The Detroit Music Festival), the 2010 Starscape Festival, Camp Bisco 9, Nocturnal Festival at Apache Pass, Texas, the 2010 Electric Zoo at Randall’s Island in New York city, New York, The North Coast Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois and the Outsidelands Festival in California, San Francisco. The music of Pretty Lights is the product of digital sampling and crosses many genres, forming a combination of hip hop, soul beats and vintage funk samples.  

The first album of Pretty Lights, Taking up Your Precious Time was released in 2006. All the songs belonged to the hip hop, party genre. It was a success with the youth and party lovers. As described by some critics, Pretty Lights were a flickering bulb at that time and got into limelight as the time passed. The album opened the doors for Smith into the party scene as well as in concerts. After that, he attended many famous and well known tours. The second album, Filling Up the City a Sky was released in 2008 and another album Passing Behind your Eyes was released in 2009. In 2010, three EP’s were released, Making up a Changing Mind, Spilling over Every Side and Glowing in the Darkest Side. By this time, the band had caught the eye of majority of the electric and hip hop genre fans. The fans loved their musical as well as live performance style. In their concerts that crowd is fully involved, dancing and having a great time. The band will soon be touring to create magic and enchant their fans once again.
