Peter Cetera Tickets
Boasting of a unique tenor voice and phenomenal songwriting skills, former Chicago frontman and today’s solo star, Peter Cetera defines a complete era of American rock music. His contributions as a lead singer and lyricist propelled Chicago to fame and made them one of the best rock bands in history. Even as a solo artist he topped the music charts and produced mega hits such as “Glory Of Love”, “One Good Wonan” and “The Next Time I Fall” – a duet he recorded with Amy Grant. His last studio album came out in 2001 but Cetera feels that maybe he has one more left in him. Looking to be inspired, he has hit the road and performing live in selected US cities. Along with his seven-piece band the maestro is selling out arenas as suggested by the demand of Peter Cetera tickets.

Peter Cetera in all His Glory!
Peter Cetera will soon celebrate his 71st birthday but the artist feels he still has a lot of music left in him. Treating the fans to his last album in 2001, the acclaimed singer and songwriter is ready to make some new music. According to Cetera times have changed as there’s no such thing as record companies anymore and he isn’t that internet savvy either. So it will be quite a challenge for the legend to try something fresh that hits mark with his countless fans. “I want to do new music — do some new things. I don’t know what it will be yet. That’s yet to be determined. ... But I think I have one more left in me.”
Calling his music timeless, Peter Cetera believes that his songs hold a special place in the listener’s heart. There are many who remember his compositions as their high school song, a song that made them fall in love, the first song they danced to after marriage or a song they made love to. Keeping memories intact for his fans, Cetera hardly makes any changes to his tracks while performing live. In fact, he has his reservations about people changing their songs to unrecognizable versions. He tries to keep his numbers as close as possible to what he originally wrote, making subtle changes here and there.
“Songs are like your children, you don’t play favorites” – Peter Cetera
Spoken like an honest, passionate musician. In a recent interview, Peter stated that for him songs are like children and you love them all for different reasons. He’s proud of each and every single that he has written, composed and performed till now. With every track there is a memory or a story attached, like “If You Leave Me Now” was Chicago’s first number one song that found worldwide acclaim. The single “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” brought the band back after a hard spell and “The Glory of Love” and “Restless Heart” cemented his place in the industry as a solo musician.
Despite parting ways with Chicago the band, Cetera still plays many of their singles in his live shows and similarly the band also plays his tracks, especially the ones he fronted. Although he’s on good terms with his fellow band members, Peter Cetera feels that things have changed a lot. Only three or four original members are left and he finds it hard to connect with the band now. When asked if he would ever reunite with Chicago, Peter stated, “It’s like a marriage. Once it’s over you don’t want to go back to your ex. I’m happy doing my own show with my own band.”
Peter Cetera Goes Live
For someone who’s not so excited about change, Peter Cetera definitely had a change of heart recently. The artist had never been keen on touring even during his heydays with Chicago and after going solo, played occasional overseas shows and some selected US dates. He surprised many when he announced an extended 2015 tour and calling this a rare opportunity, fans are not leaving anything to chance and rushing to buy Peter Cetera tickets for his upcoming shows. Concerts that started in August will run through November and a special show will take place in Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy the star crooning live his mega hits like Stay the Night, After All, Oh! Darling Come Together and Feelin’ Stronger Every Day.
