The electro pop band Passion Pit consisting of a bunch of young and talented musicians is all set for its upcoming live concert. Apart from the keyboardist and lead vocalist Michael Angelakos, all four members attended the Berklee College of Music together. The music video for the song was also ranked in the list of Top 40 Music Videos of 2008 by Pitchfork Media. Other than that, the song “I’ve Got Your Number” from the same EP was also featured in the commercial of UK’s biggest telecommunication company, O2. The track “Cuddle Fuddle” was included in the popular British sitcom, The Inbetweeners. This fame and success that the band earned was quite rare, as it’s not every day that musicians hit jackpot with their first EP. Passion Pit knew this as well and hence, cashed in on this achievement. In no time the band was referred to as the “Best New Local Act” by WFNX/Boston Phoenix best music poll and it hit the road with live tours.
 
This was just the start of the band’s growing success. In 2009, Passion Pit released a full-fledged studio album in association with Columbia Records and Frenchkiss Records titled Manners. Right after the album came out, it got the attention of renowned companies such as Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Slant Magazine and Allmusic, who all gave the album 4 stars. The album managed to reach the US Billboard 200 and also did a great business in countries including UK, France, Australia, Ireland and Belgium.
