Debuting as a cover band
Panic! At the disco saw the light of day in 2004 and was initially introduced to the world as a Blink-182 cover band. They then decided to work on their original songs and soon recorded four demo tracks, Camisado, Nails for Breakfast, Tracks for Snacks and Time to Dance which they posted on PureVolume. They also sent the demos to the bassist of Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz who supported them and helped the group signed with Decaydance Records.
In 2005, Panic! At the Disco entered the world of pop rock music with the release of their first studio record, ‘A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out.’ It achieved double platinum sales in the U.S and received rave reviews from the critics. They followed that by releasing many hit records and went through several lineup changes. Brendon Urie is now the only remaining member who released the group’s fifth record, ‘Death of a Bachelor’ in 2016. It reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. The band is now embarking on a tour in its support. Book your Panic! At The Disco Portland tickets and watch the superstars make a comeback, live.
