Osvaldo Golijov has composed the soundtrack for Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola. Kronos also helped Golijov increase his musical family through alliance with other artists including the Romanian Gypsy band Taraf de Haidouks, tablas virtuoso Zakir Hussain, legendary Argentine composer and the Mexican Rock group Café Tacuba. Golijov takes inspiration from Dawn Upshaw’s voice for the last decade and has also composed countless works for him.
