A band with thrash metal sounds, belonging to Bristol, UK, Onslaught is one famous English act across the world. Their genre is thrash metal and speed metal music. The band actually started from 1983 until 1991 and then got back together around 2004. Onslaught got together because they were basically inspired by the favorite bands of punk rock music of those times like The Exploited as well as Discharge; it influenced them to create simply straight forward and fresh sound of thrash metal music. The labels which they have worked for are Candlelight, London, Under One Flag, Children of the Revolution, and AFM records.

This band is worth giving a try, so why not purchase your Onslaught tickets and experience the story of this band. Previous members of the band consisted of Paul Hill, Jase Pope, Roge Davis, Paul Davis, Paul Mahoney, Jase Stallard, Steve Grimmett, Tony O’Hara, James hinder, Rob Trotman, Steve Grice and Alan Jordan.
It was in the beginning of 1990 when Steve Grimmett has to quit the band because of a few personal issues and he was replaced by a new member Tony O’Hara. The band continued recording and writing its new fourth album. Even though the band had pulled through, London Records took the decision that it was time to search for something new and terminated their musical contract with the band Onslaught which left it without any record label attached with them and no one to finance their album. The band kept trying to gain another deal but they were unable to achieve anything, so in the starting of 1991
Onslaught was disbanded.
But that was not the end of Onslaught, as they recruited new members in 2004 which included Sy Keeler, James Hinder, Alan Jordan, Steve Grice, and Nige Rockett. Alan Jordan was the last to join the band, he is a welsh guitarist. The band tried hard to continue writing the fourth album which was called Killing Peace again in 2005 which was released sometime in 2007. But again it was not a good time for the band as James Hinder quit the band in 2007 while Alan Jordan also left it in 2008. The two members of the band were then replaced by Andy Rosser-Davis and Jeff Williams.
During the year 2010, Onslaught was able to sign a contract with AFM records and was able to release Onslaught’s fifth studio album in 2011 which was called Sounds of Violence. In 2011 for the fourth coming tour, Steve Grice has given a statement to leave Onslaught while Michael Hourihan would take the place on drums. Lastly Joshua Brazda also joined the band in September 2011.
