The band initially emerged from the metal scene of mid and late 90s in South Florida. It was formed by Soriano and Rivera. Nonpoint’s debut studio album was "Statement". It hit the market in October of 2000 through MCA Records. After its release, the band toured across the country with names such as Fuel, Hed PE, Drowning Pool and Taproot. Their first release that made it to the Billboard chart was their second studio album titled "Development". It debuted at fifty two spot. The track Your Signs from the album was also a hit and made it to Mainstream Rock chart. This year marked their second performance at the Ozzfest as well. Their song Circles was featured on NASCAR Thunder 2003 later on.
During the years 2007 to 2009, the band released their fifth album by the name of "Vengeance" while their song Everybody Down was featured in WWE SmackDown VS Raw 2008.
