Australian alternative rock group Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds is currently on its European leg of tour and has a North American tour set for 2014. The band will be coming to the country in summer to support its 2013 album, “Push The Sky Away”. It is the fifteenth album by the group and was released in February 2013. Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds has also progressively featured other songwriting elements in the album Dig, Lazarus, Dig along with a hint of garage rock. The album featured the garage and punk-rock genre. The members then kicked off a European and North American tour.
The band’s best-selling record, “Murder Ballads” was released in 1996. The songs on the record, covers the topic of murder and it also features a folk track “Henry Lee”. The song was sung in collaboration with British rock singer PJ Harvey. Other artists also contributed their vocals on the album. Kylie Minogue performed the duet “Where The Wild Roses Grow” with the band. In Australia and UK, this collaboration was a big hit and earned three Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Awards. All the albums released by the band have been supported with touring and live performances. Keeping the tradition forward, Nick Cave is set to hit the road again. Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds is also working on releasing its drama-documentary in 2014, called “20,000 Days on Earth” under the direction of Jane Polland and Lain Forsyth.
