Niall Horan Tickets

Long before Nicole Scherzinger suggested that he be a part of a boy band and Simon Cowell ultimately signed him up, it was Niall Horan’s aunt who discovered the musical genius in him. One day he was hitching a ride with his aunt when he began singing in the car. His aunt thought that the radio was on. This was just the beginning of Horan who would go on to join One Direction. As the band is currently on hiatus, its members are pursuing individual projects. Horan, too, is successfully pursuing a solo career and will soon be touring the US to promote his single Slow Hands. If you enjoyed One Direction’s music then you’ll love Horan solo performances too. So, get your Niall Horan tickets now.

Date & Time

As a solo artist, Horan has won the Radio Disney Music Awards in the Best Male Artist category and the People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Breakout Artist in 2017.

Early Years

Niall Horan was born in Mullingar, Ireland. This is the same town which was an occasional haunt for a young James Joyce. He has a brother, Greg Horan and the boys were raised by their father. Greg got a guitar for Christmas, which he showed no interest in. So, Niall picked it up, logged onto YouTube and taught himself how to play the instrument. As his interest in music grew, he started to play locally, sometimes to raise funds for a charity. While still in school he performed at the Mullingar Arts Centre to raise funds for the local football team.

The Fateful 5

The story of how One Direction got started is no secret. All 5 boys were rejected at one stage or the other on The X Factor. In hindsight, this is the best thing that could have ever happened to them, as they were later brought together to form One Direction. The boys may have been asked to form a band, but their chemistry was such that they could have fooled any one for being lifelong friends. This chemistry would later help them become the fourth highest earning celebrities in the world.

One Direction

The boys appeared on the X Factor in 2010. Since then, the band has won World Music Awards, UK Music Video Awards, Teen Choice Awards, Radio Disney Music Awards and People’s Choice Awards. They won these awards for their five studio albums, seventeen singles, six EPs, seventeen music videos and one video album.

One Direction’s first two albums were certified Double-Platinum in the US. They also debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200. Up All Night, One Direction’s debut album was released in 2011 and included hit singles More Than This, One Thing, Gotta Be You and What Makes You Beautiful. One Direction’s second album Take Me Home was released in 2012 and came with several hit singles such as Rock Me, Little Things, Kiss You and Live While We’re Young.

One Direction’s last three albums were all certified as well and debuted at No.1 position on the UK Albums chart. The band is, however, on a hiatus and therefore its members are pursuing their own musical projects, with Niall Horan in the forefront.

H(or)an Solo

In September, 2016, Horan signed a record deal with Capitol Records and only a few weeks later released his debut solo single This Town. This single has given Horan the perfect stage to launch his solo career. This Town has peaked at No.20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at No.9 on the UK Singles Chart. It was certified Platinum in the US, while Double-Platinum in Canada. In 2017, Horan released his second solo single Slow Hands. He will be promoting this single in the US.

Will Horan make it on his own?

Other One Direction members have done well in their solo careers and there is no reason why Horan would be an exception. Plus, what makes him likely to not only succeed, but become as big as his band is that he has learnt from the best. Amongst his influences, Horan counts Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Michael Steven Bublé.
