Initially Murs started his career in a group called 3 Melancholy Gypsies aka 3MG an American hip hop group from the similar origin of Murs that is Los Angeles, California, United States. The band comprising of three members; Eligh, Murs and Scarub was formed in the year 1992 when they met at Hamilton High school. Soon they were included in Log Cabin Crew, with whom they worked with until the later disbanded.
