Born on the 22^nd of May, 1959, Morrissey belongs to Davyhulme, Lancashire, United Kingdom. It became a huge hit and topped the charts upon its release. It was certified Gold by RIAA on the 16^th of November, 1993. Two of the most popular tracks from the record were Suedehead and Everyday is Like Sunday. He released several tracks over the course of the following year, including Ouija Board, Ouija Board, The Last of the Famous International Playboys and Interesting Drug. The latter two songs went on to appear on the Top Ten charts.
 
Morrissey embarked on a heavy tour schedule in the year 2002, performing at numerous places and venues such as the United States of America, Australia, and Japan. After the end of the tour, he started to work on his next record. The album was called You Are Quarry and was issued in the year 2004. It turned out to become a great hit, achieving the 11^th place on the Billboard album chart in the United States and the second place on the United Kingdom album chart. It also gained appreciation from the critics and saw its leading single, Irish Blood, English Heart hit the number three place on the United Kingdom singles charts within a week of its arrival. Some of the other popular tracks from the record were Let Me Kiss You, I Have Forgiven Jesus and First of the Gang to Die.
 
Morrissey issued his eighth full length studio album on the 3^rd of April, 2006 after its recording was completed in Rome. The album was titled Ringleader of the Tormentors. It went on to top the UK albums chart soon after it was released and gained the 27^th spot in the US. It also spawned various hit tracks such as The Youngest Was the Most Loved, In the Future When All's Well, You Have Killed Me and I Just Want to See the Boy Happy.
