Steven Patrick Morrissey is a famous singer and lyricist, born in 1959. Popular by his last name ‘Morrissey’, this brilliant luminary emerged as a prominent artist in the eighties. At the time he was the vocalist and lyricist of the band called The Smiths. With the break-up of the band in 1987, Morrissey set off on a journey to establish his career as a solo-artist. This smart choice resulted in making him reach the top ten of UK Singles Chart, on ten different occasions. He released his debut solo album in 1988 with the title, Viva Hate. The album not only entered but topped the UK albums chart.

Morrissey is regarded as an innovator in the indie music sceneo. He is rightly categorized amongst "one of the most influential artists ever" by music magazine NME. Also The Independent says that Morrissey is amongst those very few artists who are able to achieve such an iconic status in a lifetime, most of the artist don’t make it to the end.  Given the past two decades in Western popular culture, Morrissey was ranked amongst the “most singular figures” by Pitchfork Media.

Popular for his baritone vocal style, Morrissey is bringing his dynamic live performance to Boston. Make time for a spectacular event this summer.
