Born on the 12th of February, 1952 in St. Louis Missouri, Michael McDonald is an American singer and songwriter who gained famed as a back-up vocalist with the band called, Steely Dan. His singing style can be defined as classical singing, in which the vocals lie between bass and tenor vocals. This style of singing is known as, Baritone.
He began his journey as a musician in the McCluer High School in his hometown of Ferguson, Missouri. As a student there, he performed with several bands.
