Lynyrd Skynyrd Cherokee Tickets

Back in 1964, a group of friends from high school decided to turn their random jam sessions into something concrete and got together to form a band. They went through several names but none felt exactly right, so in the end they decided to name themselves Lynyrd Skynyrd, based on the name of the strict gym teacher from school. Today, they have released fourteen albums to date. Six of those have made it into the top twenty of the Billboard charts, while four have recorded platinum level sales and their 1976 album was certified gold. Now you can watch them on stage as well. Just book your Lynyrd Skynyrd Cherokee tickets and enjoy their performance, live at the Harrah’s Cherokee Resort Event Center.

What started off as just a few friends getting together to jam has now turned into a world famous rock band penning songs for a whole generation of people. Their name is Lynyrd Skynyrd and even though they have been though quite a lot over the years, even losing some of their members in a plane crash in 1977, they are still going strong. They continue to tour the country and play live on stage for their millions of fans everywhere.

Need All My Friends

The original lineup of the band consisted of Ronnie Van Zant (vocals), Allen Collins (guitar), Bob Burns (drums), Larry Junstrom (bass) and Gary Rossington (guitars). They were in high school together and decided to form a band in 1964, which they first named My Backyard, before changing it to One Percent. However they still weren’t too happy with the name and finally decided to change it to Leonard Skinnerd, based on the name of a strict gym teacher they had back in school.

Last of a Dying Breed

The band released their first album, titled “(Pronounced 'Leh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd)” in 1973 and it was an instant hit, making it to number twenty seven on the Billboard charts and recording multi-platinum sales in the US.

They have since released a total of fourteen albums, of which six have made it into the top twenty of the Billboard charts, while four have recorded platinum level sales. If you want to catch some of their best hits, then get your Lynyrd Skynyrd Cherokee tickets soon. Only then you can enjoy the show, live at the Harrah’s Cherokee Resort Event Center.
