About LoveLoud Festival
In 2017, Dan Reynolds set up the LoveLoud Foundation along with the festival as a way to create awareness and raise funds for charitable organizations and groups focusing specifically on the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.
Apart from the artists mentioned already, more performers are likely to be added to the festival roster in the coming weeks. The complete event will receive live streaming coverage on the social media channels of production partner AT&T.
Singer, actress, songwriter and rapper Kesha signed her first major record deal in 2005 as an 18-year-old. In 2009, the LA-born artist came into the limelight after featuring on the hit single “Right Round” by fellow rapper Flo Rida.
Later that year, Kesha released her debut single “Tik Tok.” It achieved top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and held that position for 9 straight weeks. All in all, the song was a chart-topping hit in 11 different countries while also making it to the top 10 in many other nations. In early 2010, the Brentwood resident released her debut album Animal. It reached number 1 on the US Billboard 200 and was certified triple Platinum by the RIAA.
Kesha has sold more than 76 million records around the world. An impressive list of accolades for the talented musician includes wins at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Billboard Women in Music Awards, BMI Pop Awards and the iHeart Radio Music Awards among others. She has also been nominated multiple times at the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards and the Billboard Music Awards.
Musician and record producer Dan Reynolds is the lead vocalist and only remaining founding member of the pop rock band Imagine Dragons. Apart from his work with the group, he has also recorded and released an EP called Egyptian – EP in collaboration with his musician wife Aja Wolkman.
As part of Imagine Dragons, Reynolds has won close to 50 awards from over a 100 nominations. These include the prestigious Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, Alt Rock Awards, Billboard Music Awards, BMI Pop Awards and the iHeartRadio MuchMusic Video Awards among others. The Songwriters Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award has also been conferred upon Reynolds.
Dutch record producer and DJ Martin Garrix is one of the top DJs in the world. In fact, from 2016 to 2018, he was ranked in first place on DJ Mag’s list of Top 100 DJs. Garrix has performed at a number of music festivals including Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Electric Daisy Carnival and Tomorrowland. In 2014, he became the youngest headlining DJ at the Ultra Music Festival at the age of 17. Garrix’s list of honors includes wins at the Dance Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards and the MTV Millennial Awards among others.
Tegan & Sara
Canadian indie pop duo Tegan & Sara independently released their debut album Under Feet Like Ours back in 1999. The following year, they came out with This Business of Art, their second album and the first one released under contract with a record label.
To date, the Grammy-nominated identical twin sisters have released more than half a dozen albums along with a few EPs and video albums. A number of their EPs have been certified Gold by Music Canada and broken into the top 5 of the Canadian Albums Chart. Apart from being nominated at the Grammys, Tegan & Sara have also had wins at the Western Canadian Music Awards, GLAAD Media Awards and the Canadian Radio Music Awards among others.
