Lorde Dallas Tickets
Lorde is a seventeen year old New Zealand born singer, songwriter who rose to international fame with the release of her first single, Royals in late 2012. As the first New Zealand artist to produce a solo effort that reached the number one spot on the Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, she became an overnight sensation in both her country and in the US as well. The talented singer is slated to perform live at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas, where by buying Lorde Dallas tickets you can catch her live in concert.
Immensely fascinated by royalty and aristocracy, Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor decided to adopt the stage name Lorde when she began her career as a singer. Born in Davenport, Auckland, the aspiring artist started her foray into the music industry by singing in various drama classes and singing competitions.
As her reputation grew in her native city, she signed with one of the biggest music labels in the world, “Universal”. That gave her the platform to work on her original material and in November 2012 Lorde came out with her first EP.
The EP, titled, “The Love Club”, was initially uploaded on sound sharing website Sound Cloud before being released digitally in March. The EP contained five songs, including her biggest hit to date, Royals. Royals became immensely popular in various European countries and America and gave Lorde first number one hit of her career.
Lorde is blessed with a powerful voice that is more mature than her years suggest. Since she does not play any musical instruments, her main focus is to hone her singing ability and given her natural talent she is also set to make it big.
Lorde released her first album in September 2013. Titled, “Pure Heroine”, it gained critical acclaim and was a commercial success. The singer received four nominations at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.
The singer is scheduled to perform in Dallas as part of her first North American tour. The tour will kick off in early March and the singer will perform in most major cities across the country.
