The R&B hit maker, H.E.R. has partnered with Live Nation Urban and has announced Lights On Festival. This show is scheduled to be held at the Concord Pavilion on September 14, 2019. So, if you want to enjoy a night of great music live then get your Lights on Festival tickets at the earliest before they are all sold out. The inaugural Lights On Festival is going to be headlined by H.E.R. The show will also feature performances by some of the hottest R&B acts including, Daniel Caesar, Jhené Aiko, Ari Lennox, Summer Walker and DaniLeigh to name a few. Moreover, it will contain three stages, two of them are going to be for performances and the third one is going to be dedicated for emerging filmmakers.

Born as Gabi Wilson, H.E.R. discovered fame when she took part in Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing in the year 2009. She later signed a record deal with RCA at the age of fourteen and released her first single, Something to Prove under her real name. A couple of years later, she returned with her H.E.R. persona and dropped her first EP, ‘H.E.R. Volume 1.’ The following year, she released her self-titled studio album which achieved gold status in the States and earned her a couple of Grammys.
Jhené Aiko is a gifted R&B performer who is blessed with a beautiful voice which she used to record many hit singles including, Bed Peace and While We’re Young both of which were certified platinum by the RIAA. She released her first studio album, ‘Souled Out’ in 2014 which debuted at the third spot on the Billboard 200 and was included in The Guardian’s list of the, ‘Best Albums of 2014.’ Three years later, she dropped her follow-up album, ‘Trip’ which recorded gold level sales in the U.S.
Daniel Caesar burst into mainstream popularity when he released his first double platinum single, Get You in 2016. The song featured a guest verse from Kali Uchis and got him a Grammy nomination for, ‘Best R&B Performance.’ The following year, he came out with his debut record, ‘Freudian’ which reached 25th spot on the Billboard 200 and was placed at the fifth spot on the list of the, ‘Top 10 Soul and R&B Albums of 2017’ by Exclaim!
Summer Walker is an up and coming R&B star who came under the spotlight when she released her single, Girls Need Love. The song achieved platinum certification from the RIAA and landed at the eighth spot on the R&B Songs chart. This track was also included in her debut album, ‘Last Day of Summer’ which came out in 2018.
