Getting signed with Centricity Music

After failing to make it to the American Idol, Lauren Daigle was approached by a local group The Assemblie who asked her to sing background vocals on their EP. She did so and soon Centricity Music called her to attend a workshop. When at the workshop, she was asked to fill in for the singer who was scheduled to perform at the event which later led to her singing on the Jason Gray single, Nothing is Wasted. In 2013, she was offered a recording contract by Centricity Music and a year later, her first EP, 'How Can It Be' was released. This extended play featured five songs out of which the title track was certified gold by the RIAA.

Making her mark

In April of 2015, Lauren Daigle's first full-length studio album, 'How Can It Be' came out. The record was awarded platinum plaque by the RIAA. It also landed at the first spot on the Christian Albums chart and gave a number-one single, Trust In You which got her a Dove Award for, 'Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.'

Three years later, Daigle came out with her second effort, 'Look Up Child' which reached at the 1st spot on the Top Christian Albums chart and stayed there for 44 weeks.
