Music fans are in for a treat as acclaimed music artist Kenny Chesney has announced the dates of his 2020 Chillaxification tour. The outing features a stellar lineup in support. Florida Georgia Line and Old Dominion will be joining the Tennessee native on the road along with Michael Franti and Spearhead.

Kenny Chesney made the announcement for the stadium tour through a tweet and the news was confirmed by the country duo Florida Georgia Line thereafter via their Twitter account. Kenny Chesney

When Kenny Chesney was in college, his hairdresser got him a guitar as a present for Christmas. Soon he found himself making up various tunes in his head. He was still in university when he began performing at local Tennessee clubs. He composed a record by himself and it went on to sell a thousand copies. Later Chesney moved to the Music City which is where he signed a deal with Acuff-Rose Music as a songwriter. He eventually signed a contract with the well-known label Capricorn Records and released his debut album titled "My Wildest Dreams" in the year 1994.

Over the course of his career, Kenny Chesney has treated the fans to several hit albums. His 1996 record titled "Me and You" received Gold certification and the following year he scored a Platinum album with "I Will Stand." The singer’s 2010 album "Hemmingway Whiskey" is another one of his most successful albums. It sold around 183,000 copies in its debut week and went on to be certified Platinum by the RIAA.

The singer’s album titled "When the Sun Goes Down" won him an Academy of Country Music Award for ‘Album of the Year’ in 2004. The same year he was honored with the AMA ‘Artist of the Year’ award.

Country duo Florida Georgia Line first gained popularity with the song Cruise. It initially hit the 54^th position on the Billboard Hot Songs chart in 2012 but then reached the number one spot towards the end of the year. It occupied the position for an impressive 24 weeks. Over the years, the musicians have given many hit country songs including This is How we Roll, Get Your Shine On, Confession and Meant to be.

Old Dominion

Country band Old Dominion has released three EPs and two full-length records in their career so far.
