For somebody who once saw his future in the stock market, Keith Sweat seems to have made a killing as the numbers rose, albeit on the musical charts. Keith Sweat tickets may pan out to be one of the best investments you ever made in your live music portfolio, so get some right now.Growing up in Harlem during the sixties and the seventies, Keith Sweat was at the center of the tri-state music scene. After becoming a member of the band Jamilah in 1975, Sweat performed extensively with musicians well experienced in their craft, such as keyboardist Kenneth Varner and saxophonist Joseph McGeachy. Parting ways with Jamilah in 1984, Keith Sweat started doing rounds of the local nightclub circuit and co-produced singles of Roberta Gilliam and the disco/R&B group GQ as well as issuing his own singles, namely "My Mind Is Made Up" and "Lucky Seven". Three years into his solo stint, Keith was signed onto Vintertainment Records by its founder Vincent Davis and released his debut album Make It Last Forever in 1987.

The record, released jointly by Vintertainment and Elektra climbed all the way to the top of the US R&B charts and posited itself at the 15th spot on Billboard 200, having earned a triple-platinum certification since then, as if in a bid to live up to its own name. It also spawned a quartet of top-ten singles that included the chart-topping and gold certified "I Want Her". Keeping the love machine running smoothly, Keith Sweat released I'll Give All My Love to You in 1990 that besides topping the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart broke into the top-ten slot on Billboard 200 and eventually got stamped with a double-platinum certification. His sophomore album kept up the tradition of his debut effort by also seeing four of its tracks enter the top ten and then upped the ante by having two of them touch the top, namely the title track and "Make You Sweat". 1991's Keep it Comin', also peaking at the top of the US R&B chart, kept the hits coming, and then some, with the chart-topping title track and the top-ten "Why Me Baby".

Get Up on It added another load to the already top-heavy burgeoning legacy of Keith Sweat and besides going number 1 and platinum like its predecessor, peaked at #8 on Billboard 200. 1996 saw Keith Sweat come out with an eponymous album, his 5th studio venture, which in addition to firmly asserting the "sweaty" crooner as ruling the R&B roost, clinched a quartet of platinum certifications and hatched the chart-toppers and Keith signature numbers, "Twisted" and "Nobody". In addition to peaking at the 2nd and 3rd spots on Billboard's Hot 100 respectively, the songs that featured members of the all-female group Kut Klose that Sweat had discovered, clamped down on a platinum certification each. With his next five albums, including the chart-topping Just Me and his 2011 Til The Morning, Keith Sweat quite literally proved that he was Still in the Game by staying in the top ten.
In the past two decades, Keith Sweat has come to embody the mind, body and soul of R&B, what with his quartet of American Music Award nominations including his 1997 award for Favorite Male R&B/Soul Artist, and defined the rules for the genres of urban and new jack swing music. His stints with record labels such as Elektra, Vintertainment and KEIA have resulted in rich dividends for the respective companies, netting them small fortunes in the process. He has produced music for the likes of Men At Large, The Isley Brothers and Ol' Skool and in addition to hosting his radio show The Sweat Hotel, starred in his own reality show Keith Sweat's Platinum House. So get your Keith Sweat tickets now for getting your fix of some hot and steamy tunes that will surely "Make You Say Ooh"!
