Date & Time

Juice WRLD has arrived! This young rapper is making headlines for all the right reasons and fans are lining up in queues to buy tickets to his shows in big numbers. He is on tour and you can now book your Juice Wrld tickets to see what the fuss is all about.

A Little Backdrop

Juice WRLD was inspired by the likes of Chief Keef and Black Sabbath but his favorite musician was Travis Scott. The Chicago native belongs to a very conservative family. He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago in Calumet Park. His mother was into gospel music and because of that Juice grew up listening to the genre. He wasn't really a fan of it though.

Since gospel was the music of choice for his mother, he did not have too much access to rap music. His cousins then began to give him some Cash Money, Gucci Mane and Jeezy records and that is what began the writing process for him. Since his mother was conservative, listening to rap was not easy. He used to do that secretly but that came with problems of its own. The biggest handicap was that he could not memorize the verses properly. Juice began to fill in the verses on his own and that helped him with his writing process.

The First Few Steps in High School

Juice began to play rap for the first time when he was in high school. He even began to freestyle on the school's radio show. The idea was to push himself and get into a situation where he would have no choice but to show the world he had talent. Being live on radio meant he had no other option but to freestyle and avoid choking.

He then began to upload music on SoundCloud and began to develop a loyal fanbase on the platform. He released the song Forever on SoundCloud in the year 2015. Then came another track Too Much Cash in 2017 and it was produced by Nick Mara, who is Juice's current producer. Making music and making ends meet wasn't easy however. At that time, he was also working in a factory but they let him go just after two weeks because Juice's heart wasn't really into it.

Starts to Make Impact

He then went on to join "Internet Money", the internet collective and came out with his debut extended play titled "9 9 9" in June of 2017. The EP contained the track Lucid Dreams, his breakthrough track, but it did not make much of a mark at that particular time.

In December of the same year, he released an EP titled "Nothings Different" and it made its way to various hip hop blogs. That resulted in the track All Girls Are the Same getting some traction and in February of 2018, a music video was released which was directed by Cole Bennett. Soon after that, he signed a three million dollar record deal with Interscope Records.

In May, Lucid Dreams was released officially and it was even given a video. That did the trick and the song climbed to number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 as well as US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. The track also went Gold in Australia and New Zealand while it was certified Platinum in Canada.

Juice WRLD then released his debut studio album "Goodbye & Good Riddance" on May 23, 2018. The record charted at the fourth position on US Billboard 200. It also charted in multiple countries around the globe. In June, he came out an extended play "Too Soon..." in memory of XXXTentacion and Lil Peep.

Now he is on tour and it will allow hip hop fans a real chance to get up close and personal with this incredibly talented artist. If you want to see him live too, then make sure you book your Juice Wrld tickets in advance.
