Frontiers releasing during the early eighties featured hits like, Separate Ways. The success so many albums compelled Perry release a solo album, Street Talk. The album released in 1984 and achieved double platinum status. After two years elapsed the band thought of making another album thus releasing Raised on Radio. They band may have lost its original members but one thing remains constant throughout, their classic jazz rock sound!
Journey’s golden period was the seventies and eighties when it temporarily disbanded. Their super hit single, “Don’t Stop Believin’” is till date the top selling catalog track in iTunes history. Their highest charting US hit as “Open Arms.” The nineties saw the band reuniting again. They found all the more reason to rejoice with their hit single, “When you Love a Woman.” Two of their albums have reached gold status, eight achieved multi-platinum status. Allmusic is said to have described the band as one of America’s most beloved bands.
