Jon Batiste’s entire family is associated with music and he is devoted to the art of making music by blood. Batiste was named one of the 30 most influential people in art in 2012 according to a poll and has a great reputation in the classical music world. Jon Batiste released his second album called ‘Live in New York: At the Rubin Museum of Art’ in 2006. He received the Movado Future Legend Award right after the release. His great success was his self-produced show at Carnegie Hall as he was lauded for his workshops for underprivileged children who were interested in music. Stay Human comprises of Batiste himself on the piano, Phil Kuehm on bass, Joe Saylor on drums, Eddie Barbash on saxophone and Ibanda Ruhumbika on tuba.
