In 1968 and Jon Anderson met Chris Squire, whose association bought him singles at the gigs of Mabel Greer's Toy Shop. His lead vocals did wonders to the band’s sound. The silent front and hiatus for Yes meant Jon Anderson as progressive rock artist. Deseo (1994) began engaging himself for solo tours. He rigorously indulged in recording interesting pieces and celebrating the success and demands of like Lost Tapes of Opi, Toltec, The Promise Ring and Earth Mother Earth. Carrying similar themes in words and music he presented successful hits on the Billboard and international music charts. The More You Know featured him as the most mature and appealing vocal talents. In 2010 Suival and Other stories was presented as a cemented sound of progressive rock. Most of his solo work was claimed hits in mainstream rock and adult contemporary.
