Jason Isbell Birmingham Tickets

Jason Isbell is a celebrated Americana country artist who strives to uphold the old country tradition in a world of ever-changing music. He hails from Alabama and produces music that would make the late-Tom Petty proud (an idol and a friend of the musician). Isbell is now settled in Nashville, Tennessee and has produced a brand new album along with his 400 Unit Band titled “The Nashville Sound”. The musician is currently touring  in support of this album across the US and has a number of dates booked for Alabama. Jason Isbell Birmingham tickets for his three-day January 2018 stopover in the city’s Alabama Theatre are on sale now.

This Ain’t No Solo Flight

While Jason Isbell has been somewhat of a solo artist for most of his musical career, his 2018 tour is anything but a solo flight. He is joined by his recently formed house band called the 400 Unit. Also, he will have fellow country artist James McMurtry as his opening act throughout this tour, so one can hope for a duet between them at some point in the tour.

Isbell has spent the latter half of 2017 performing a successful six-night show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, after acclaimed country act Little Big Town finished their Residency there. Isbell’s latest album has also been nominated for album of the year at the 51st Country Music Awards. Therefore, Isbell has been fairly active in 2017 and will continue this streak throughout the following year.

About the Show

The Alabama Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama, has been host to some of the greatest names in country music. Since it was first opened, back in 1927, it has been a center of art and music in Alabama. Currently, it hosts over three hundred events during the year, which range from theatrical performances to film screenings to concerts to stand-up comedy shows and many more.

Jason Isbell considers Alabama his port of origin and has performed at the Theatre on many occasions. However, this is the first time he is performing there with his 400 Unit band so that changes things from previous occasions. Plus, he is promoting his 2017 release “The Nashville Sound” which has not been brought to the live stage as yet. Jason Isbell Birmingham tickets for these exciting nights in Alabama are on sale now.
