There are not many country bands that can attract fans with their sound in the modern era when the world is dominated by pop and rock genres. One group, A Thousand Horses has however changed the script to make country music popular again.

New face of country music

A Thousand Horses began when Bill Satcher and Michael Hobby started to write songs at the age of fifteen. The duo was later joined by Satcher’s cousin, Graham DeLoach and Atlanta native, Zach Brown which completed the group’s lineup. They were later signed by DGC/Interscope Records through which they released their debut EP, ‘A Thousand Horses’ in 2010 which was produced by the two time Grammy winner, Dave Cobb. The extended play featured five songs out of which, Suicide Eyes was used in the film, ‘Footloose’ which starred Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald.

A Thousand Horses: Rising to the top

Five years later after their formation, A Thousand Horses signed a recording deal with Republic Nashville and released their first studio record, ‘Southernality’. The record helped the group steal the limelight and it received favorable reviews from the critics. It featured their first number one single, Smoke which set the record for the highest debut by a new act. The group also received an American Country Countdown Award nomination for the ‘Breakthrough Group/Duo of the Year’ in 2016. They are now coming to entertain you with their hits so strap on your country boots and grab A Thousand Horses San Bernardino tickets before everyone else does.
