The two artists forming this duo have a common aim – making classical music available to a younger and bigger audience. Both men met at Yehudi Menuhin School, an institution in England and became friends when they were twelve years old. Since then, they have not only stayed great friends but also writing partners. With celebrities like Dudley Moore and Victor Borge as their inspiration, they made a show titled ‘A Little Nightmare Music’ in 2004. This show was an instant hit. It became the starting point of their tours to festivals all around the world, including Bergen Festival, Yehudi Menuhin Festival, Lockenhaus, Verbier Festival, festivals run by Yuri Bashmet and Renault Capucon and even Saratoga Festival in New York. The program is full of enchanting music, great humor and is quite literally, genius. The intelligent and captivating show attracted both fans of classical music and the generation that’s usually a hesitant audience when it comes to the likes of Mozart. Today, they perform at some of the biggest festivals and stages and also with famous symphony orchestras all over the world. Their videos have received over 28 million views on YouTube and viewers find these clips unique, entertaining and hilarious.
