Kem Owens is another Soul and R&B singer, writer, and producer who has worked his way up in due course of time. His fame and recognition is a true reflection of his work. His latest album release (2010), Intimacy: Album III followed the same success pattern and landed at the number two position at the US peak chart and the US R&B peak chart. Upon his unique music style, KEM was selected to add life to contemporary touch to the event along Fantasia.
 
Fantasia Barrino began her career as the youngest American Idol at the age of nineteen. Along being an R&B singer, she is a television and Broadway actress. Her debut song release by the name ‘I Believe’ reached number one position at the Billboard Hot 100 and her debut album was certified platinum. Released by the name Free Yourself, the album received three Grammy Award nominations. She released her self-titled second album which followed the ditto footsteps of the debut album. It also gained three Grammy nominations and was declared gold. Single ‘When I See You’ from the album dominated the Billboard charts for eight weeks. She finally won her first Grammy Award in 2010 as the Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
 
El DeBarge is another R&B singer who made an entry into the music world with the band named DeBarge but soon took off for a solo career. The artist has released five studio albums, one compilation album and several singles, some of the reaching top charts. For his latest performance, El DeBarge has been nominated for the 2011 Grammy Awards.
