Hillsong United released their first EP titled as One in 1998 and released it along with the annual Hillsong album. Both of these albums, Hillsong United’s first EP and the Hillsong Chruch album had Gold sales in Australia. After that, Hillsong United’s first album was recorded in 1999 and was titled as Everyday. After 1999, the band released an album every year and later on changed their name to Hillsong United in 2002.
 
Hillsong United currently has a large number of members that include a bassist, Adam Crosariol and drummer Brandon Gillies. Prominent members include popular New Zealand musician, Brooker Fraser and former members include indie rock band LUKAS drummer Luke Munns.
