Greenbrier Classic tickets bring you a chance to be a part of one of the most awaited golf tournament this summer. The Greenbrier Classic tournament is a part of the PGA Tour which was initiated as a replacement of Michigan's Buick Open in Flint. The tournament started in 2010 and for two years it was played in the month of June. It shifted to July in the third year, since then it has become an important tournament on the PGA.
 
The tournament is played in White Sulphur Springs' The Old White Course at The Greenbrier. The Old White course became a part of the TPC in 2011. It is a lush course of 7,274 yards with an average elevation of 1,850 above sea level.
 
The inaugural season of the tournament was a memorable one. Stuart Appleby made history by shooting the fifth 59 in the history of PGA. The record was also the second one made that year. Appleby won this tournament with a score of 66-68-65-59=258 and -22 To par.
 
The 2011 season was more exciting when a three-way sudden-death playoff came up. Played to settled the tie between Bob Estes, Bill Haas and Scott Stallings, it was won by Stallings. Stallings become the season's sixth rookie as well as the winner of the tournament by scoring a apar-3 18^th-hole birdie.
 
The 2012 was again a treat for fans as the tournament returned with the second straight. It was won by earning him his first PGA tour win. He aced three extra holes; par-3 18th, par-5 17th and a birdie at 18th and swept the title.
 
This season, the tournament is expected to showcase great competition and excitement for golf fans. Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, Ted Potter, Jr. and Greenbrier's Golf Pro Emeritus Tom Watson and will be seen playing at the Old White TPC Course with aggressive and calculated fast-paced style. All these names are a big attraction for anyone and everyone who loves golf and follows the PGA.
 
 
The tournament has also been featuring great live music every season. A lineup of the country's most spectacular country, pop and rock stars have performed at the Greenbrier Classic Concert Series. For the first season of the tournament four country rock acts were showcased. Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood & Brad Paisley performed on three different days.  In 2011, Luke Bryan and Tim McGraw performed on the first day of the events, with The Black Eyed Peas on the second and Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban on the third. In 2012 country rock star Toby Keith teamed with classic pop/soul legend Lionel Richie on Day 1. Hark Rock star Rod Stewart performed with The Fray on day2 and Bon Jovi performed on Day 3.
