G Eazy Cities

The music industry is growing each day with chances of discovering fresh talent higher than ever before. With the advent of online video sharing sites like YouTube and various social media platforms, it is getting easier for artists to be heard. But to find success is still very hard. You need to be unique and innovative to rise above the rest and get noticed by the world. And right now nobody is doing that better than G Eazy.

G Eazy is part of a new breed of rappers that are trying to make the grade in the music world. And so far he’s been doing a good job of it. Still only twenty five years old, G Eazy has taken the rapping world by storm. With his wide range of rapping styles and his brutally honest lyrics, he is carving a significant niche in the rap world. He has toured with some of the best rappers in the business and he used that experience to learn vital lessons about rap. The way rappers carry themselves, how to develop your credibility in the music business and most importantly how to control the crowd and develop a fan base. He has learned on the job and that has seen G Eazy tickets sales rocket through the roof.

G Eazy developed his love for rap in high school when he started bought a cheap mic and began to download softwares that could create bass and drum progressions as well as record his voice. Those early recordings became his first few rap productions and got him interested in making a career out of music. By the time he was applying for colleges, he knew that he wanted to complete a degree in music.

Eazy then joined Loyola University because of their highly rated music program.  At college, G Eazy became passionately involved in rap and even started a band called the Bay Boyz. They used social media to release a host of singles and mix tapes which got them some localized attention. He used that momentum to release several more mix tapes and singles to further his reputation at college and in underground hip-hop circles. He started developing a unique style, one that could only be attributed to G Eazy and made his sound distinctively different from other hip-hop artists.

By the time G Eazy graduated from college, he had made six mix tapes, two EPs and numerous other singles. He had also garnered a significant fan following and had developed his reputation in rap circles. That was the time when he started receiving invitations to go on tour and open for famous rappers like Snoop Dogg and Drake.

He also went on the Warped Tour, one of the longest running music tours in the history of the U.S. Here he developed his first album ‘Must be Nice’ which he released online and without the help of a record label or a producer. The album came third on the iTunes Hip Hop Chart and turned out to be relatively successful.

In 2013, G Eazy got the chance to do his first headline tour and he traveled all over the United States and Canada. The road trip helped him garner more success and he made his way to the covers of numerous reputable publications and magazines like Forbes and the Rolling Stone etc. He was named as one of the top artists to watch in 2013 as well as the best new artist of 2013 by various magazines. He was also invited to perform at the prestigious ‘America’s Most Wanted Festival’ nationwide tour by Lil Wayne.

2014 saw G Eazy release another album titled ‘These Things Happen.’ The album was released after the completion of one of his most successful North American tours to date, where almost every show was sold out. The album reached the top spot on the Billboard Rap chart and the Billboard R&B charts. It reached third spot in the Billboard US Top 200 chart and sold over forty five thousand albums in its first week of release.

G Eazy has performed with some of the best rappers in the business. He has toured all over North America multiple times, playing his music at all the major cities. He has released two full albums with numerous hit singles and has been called ‘the young Elvis’ by Billboard. Life could not get any better for this Oakland born rapper. And who would have thought he could achieve all this within two years of graduating from college.
