A cool weekend of nothing but music and racing – that’s how Brian Kelley has described the inaugural FGL Fest. Conceived a year back in 2018, the event had to be cancelled due to severe weather conditions. Big names like Cole Swindell, RaeLynn, Jillian Jacqueline and Mason Ramsey were roped in to perform but in the end were disappointed when the festival couldn’t follow through. The optimistic Florida Georgia Line believe that everything happens for a reason and the 2019 event will be much better than what they had initially planned.
Taking place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the September 7 festival is expected to be packed with diehard fans. The highest capacity sports venue in the world, Speedway can accommodate around 400,000 people. With Florida Georgia Line performing along with the other hit-makers like Blanco Brown, Canaan Smith, Dan + Shay and Mitchell Tenpenny, the growing sales of FGL Fest tickets is justified.
Here’s to the Good Times With FGL
Riding high on the success of their 4th album “Can’t Say I Ain’t Country”, FGL recorded yet another number one album on the Billboard Country charts. An eclectic blend of country and cosmopolitan, the duo has collaborated with several artists including Brother Jervel, Jason Derulo and Jason Aldean. They are currently selling out venues on their “Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour” that started in March 2019 and will wrap up on September 28, 2019.
Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are superb live performers, and the latest run sees them opening the show with their arena anthem “Colorado”. Building the momentum with “Cruise”, they always bring uproar in crowd with their energy and the fans leave their event craving for more.
The Lineup You Can’t Miss
Dan + Shay, Canaan Smith, Blanco Brown and Mitchell Tenpenny, among others, all make a dynamic lineup. Dan + Shay has also been touring with the band and the connection they have built with the crowd is remarkable. Presenting a collection of old numbers and new, the country duo make the fans go crazy with their live rendition of “19 You + Me” and “Tequila”.
The “Love You Like That” crooner Canaan Smith is known for his energy and impromptu jamming which gets the crowd going during his concerts. Expect him to raise hell alongside Blanco Brown who will belt out his staples like “The Git Up”. Mitchell Tenpenny and Nelly will also bring the house down with their hit numbers, so FGL Festival already promises to be an event like no other.
