The record reached at the eighth spot on the Billboard 200 and became a monstrous hit with the critics, making it to the Time Magazine's list of the, 'All-TIME 100 Albums.' He then followed it up by putting out his only chart-topping studio album, 'Harvest' which was certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA. Since then, he has gone on to issue nine gold studio albums all of which helped him bring even more success.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, John Mellencamp is arguably the most important roots rocker of his generation who has gone on to achieve phenomenal success over the years. He has been nominated multiple times for the Grammy Award and is popular for his number-one singles, Hurts So Good, Lonely Ol' Night, Paper in Fire and Cherry Bomb.
John Mellencamp's career took off during the early '80s as it was during that decade, he went on to release four multi-platinum studio albums, 'American Fool,' 'Uh-Huh,' 'Scarecrow' and 'The Lonesome Jubilee.' Out of these records, 'American Fool' marked his first effort to debut atop the Billboard 200 and was certified quintuple platinum by the RIAA. He came out with his latest record, 'Other People's Stuff' in December of 2018 which climbed to the first spot on the Top Rock Albums chart.
Known as the guitarist, songwriter and lead vocalist of the Dave Matthews Band, Dave Matthews is not only a talented singer-songwriter but is also a skilful actor and has appeared in films, 'Lake City' and 'You Don't Mess with the Zohan.' As a part of his group, he has gone on to work on nine studio albums out of which, 'Under the Table and Dreaming,' 'Crash,' 'Before These Crowded Streets,' 'Everyday' and 'Busted Stuff' achieved multi-platinum status in the U.S. In 2018, Dave Matthews Band came out with their latest studio project, 'Come Tomorrow' which became their seventh consecutive effort to top the Billboard 200.
