Falling in Reverse is the renamed version of the band From Behind These Walls. Its current members are Ronnie Radke on the vocals, Nasty on the bass/vocals, Derek on the guitar/ backing vocals, Jacky on the Lead Guitar and Oskar on the Drums. The band is known for its post-hardcore music. However there are other genres like pop punk and metal core that the band has also played. The band has a lot of pop inclined choruses in its songs. No wonder, despite having a very underground impression, the band remains a mainstream success.
The band started in 2008, when front-man and lead vocalist Ronnie Radke, former singer of Escape the Fate, was abandoned by his fellows due to some behavior and rehab issues. Resultantly he formed From Behind These Walls to give voice to his thoughts and emotions. The music and the sound of the band were so energetic and were noticed fairly well. However, the band's name was changed to Falling in Reverse because of copyright infringement. To begin with, the band wagon had Radke, Nason Schoeffler (bassist), Jacky Vincent guitarist and Derek Jones rhythm guitarist. They kept trying for a drummer until they settled down with Seaman.
Radke, being the front-man of this band, brought his experience from the music of Escape the Fate. Everything from the lyrical tones to the music stream, the band’s melodic and harmonic hardcore along with pop punk is made of screaming vocals. This feature makes each track exploding with energy of metal and rhythm of pop. Radke is also influenced by Eminem and bring impressions of his music to Falling in Reverse as well. The lyrics are mainly based on Radke's life experiences. The band also relies on instrumentals to express their musical stance.
The Drug In Me Is You was the band's first studio album. The album was an inspirational effort record over two month's time in Florida. The album was produced by Epitaph Records, who released the album in 2011. It talked mostly about the difficult times in Radke's life. The album hit stands hard with eleven mega hit songs. These songs include monster hits like "Raised by Wolves" and "The Drug in Me Is You". The success of these songs pushed the band to work on its first video; later that year the video of "The Drug in Me Is You" was released. The album got mixed reviews and mediocre commercial success in the first week. With the release of the third single, "I'm Not a Vampire" things changed greatly. It was a song that the youth related to so well that it made the album a bit time hit. "Good Girls, Bad Guys" was the band's second video from the album that too became a big hit.
Falling in Reverse's sophomore album The Thug in Me is You came out in 2012. It became an anticipated effort because the band members had been tweeting and updating fans about it. This album tried to be different from the debut album which was all vengeful and cynical. The album is a high spirited one which showcases the dynamics of Radke's talent. It features the harmonious side of the band and is being appreciated by the band's fans and critics.
This band played live for the first time at the Vans Warped Tour 2011 on the Kia Kevin Says Stage. After the success of their act, they went to play as Goodbye Graceful on some secret shows. Later the band went on their first nationwide tour where it supported bands, For All Those Sleeping and Eyes Set to Kill. The Drug in Me Is You Tour was the band’s debut tour which started in 2012. This tour was very successful and sold out at three venues. For concert shows at other venues on the same tour, Falling in Reverse tickets were hard to find!
The band returns this season to showcase the best of its best music. The band has showcased some splendid live music earlier this year. This tour is anticipated to be even better. Watch them play their live side in their most energetic form with Falling in Reverse tickets in hand.
