The Ensemble ACJW is a sensational musical group, described as a collective of some of the most talented young musicians from the Carnegie Hall’s music academy. Each of these young musicians has been praised by audiences and critics on the performance of their music, and for an outlook on music that is fresh, open minded and in line with the twenty first century’s new approach. Each and every member of the Ensemble ACJW is an alumni of The Academy, a Carnegie Hall project, that is a two year long fellowship program that has been built to nourish the world’s greatest young professional musicians for a career in music, combined with excellent teaching, with skills such as community outreach, leadership and advocacy specifically taught.
 
The best among the alumni of The Academy, each of whom is highly skilled and talented in his or her own right, are then chosen to be part of the Ensemble ACJW, a testament to their abilities and the standard of this group, which is made up of twenty of the best young professional musicians in the world. Chosen for their mastery of music, a commitment to education, leadership qualities and community engagement. The Academy in itself is a project of the Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School and the Weill Music Institute with the New York City Department of Education.
 
The Ensemble ACJW is today made up of many amazing young musicians. This includes bassists Doug Balliett, bassoon Nanci Belmont, trumpeter Thomas Bergeron, oboe player Stuart Breczinski, clarinet player Liam Burke and clarinet player Gabriel Campos Zamora. It is also home to cello player Hannah Collins, bassist Tony Flynt, flutist Catherine Gregory and viola player Megan Griffin.
