Founded in 1930s, El Paso Symphony Orchestra has stood as the best symphony orchestra of Texas and the oldest performing arts organization in the county of El Paso. The youth orchestra has received grants from National Endowment for the Arts in its effort to serve the financial needs of students and continues to contract support from City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department and the Texas Commission on the Arts. The training and mentorship programs help the students explore and capitalize on their talent.  The orchestra’s education and outreach programs bring in light the live symphony music to more than two thousand senior citizens.
