He has made quite a name for himself in the industry. He has also worked with American record producers Illenium and Pierce Fulton on songs Leaving and No More respectively. Vérité was born in Orange County, New York. Her music has received critical acclaim and she has gone on to perform in many festivals. EDEN: Making an impact
EDEN is the stage name of Jonathon Ng who was born in Dublin, Ireland. He grew up learning music and soon taught himself to play guitar, drums and piano. In 2013, he decided to start his career as a musician under the moniker, The Eden Project and got things underway by releasing an album ‘Kairos’ in 2014. In the same year, he released an extended play, ‘Entrance’ which saw him experimenting with his signature electronic sound by adding indie music. The famous producer Puppet approached him and asked him to appear on his song, Scribble which was released via Monstercat.
One year later, Ng came out with his second EP, ‘Bipolar Sunshine.’ He then announced he is ditching The Eden Project before his last extended play under that alias, ‘Final Call’ hit the shelves. It featured two cover songs, Crazy in Love and Blank Space originally released by Beyoncé and Taylor Swift respectively. On August 8, 2015, he released an EP under his new moniker, EDEN and it was titled ‘End Credits.’ This extended play has been streamed over fourteen million times on SoundCloud and consisted of seven tracks. To promote his latest EP, Ng set out on the ‘End Credits Tour’ and went on to perform concerts in cities like London, Los Angeles, Dublin, Toronto and New York City.
I Think You Think Too Much of Me
EDEN then began working on music once the tour had ended and on August 19, 2016, he released another extended play, ‘I Think You Think Too Much of Me.’ The EP charted in many countries across the world including, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. It also contained a song, Fumes which has been streamed over two million times on YouTube. He has now announced to release his first studio effort, ‘Vertigo’ soon.
Vérité: Catching the attention of the world
Kelsey Byrne or Vérité was raised in New York and grew up listening to rock bands like Green Day and Nirvana. As her father was a musician, Byrne decided to follow in his footsteps and in early 2013 she started working with the American drummer and producer, Elliot Jacobson. A year later, she churned out her first song, Strange Enough under the alias, Vérité. The track turned out to be a hit and peaked at the first spot on Hype Machine. On August 26, 2014, she recorded and released her second single, Weekend. The song was called a “beautiful pop gem” by Interview Magazine. A couple of months later, Vérité released her first EP ‘Echo’ which apart from Strange Enough and Weekend, contained a two new songs, Heartbeat and Echo.
In 2015, Vérité put out her second EP, ‘Sentiment.’ She later began working on her third EP and on May 6, 2016, spawned, ‘Living.’ It was loaded with five hypnotizing songs. Four months later, she dropped a cover song, Somebody Else by The 1975 which has been streamed in excess of seventy million times on Spotify.
Somewhere in Between
Vérité kicked off 2017 by releasing her lead single, Phase Me Out from her debut studio LP, ‘Somewhere in Between.’ She later went on to perform the song on NBC’s television show, ‘Today.’ On March 31, 2017, she came out with the album’s second single, When You’re Gone and finally on June 23, 2017, Vérité’s record, ‘Somewhere in Between’ hit the shelves. It enjoyed both critical and commercial success.
